Riigikogu is open to the public. You are welcome to follow Riigikogu sittings or see art exhibitions in various locations around Toompea Castle. Register for guided tours to see Toompea Castle and learn about the work of the Riigikogu. In addition to this, the anniversary of the Constituent Assembly is celebrated every year with an Open House.
What will be discussed at the Riigikogu sitting today? What are the pro and con arguments by the coalition and the opposition, respectively? You are welcome to attend the sittings of the Riigikogu, which you can follow from the visitors’ gallery. You do not have to pre-register for that.

In 2025 alone, over 27 500 people visited the Riigikogu
Question Time
On Wednesdays, you can follow the 12 a.m. Question Time where three Ministers answer the questions of MPs. The Question Time takes place before the plenary sitting on Wednesday. There is no Question Time during the week of recess.
Public committee meetings
If a committee declares a meeting public, you are also welcome to attend it in Toompea Castle. We announce the public committee meetings via the agenda and the social media.
Visitor information

To visit Riigikogu sittings, please come to the left-hand foyer of Toompea Castle and ask the receptionist.
You have to register first for tours of the Riigikogu. Tours start from the right-hand foyer of the Castle.
You need to present a valid photo identification document to gain entry: ID-card, passport, driver’s licence or student card.
