The paper documents of the Riigikogu and the Chancellery of the Riigikogu have been deposited in the National Archives of Estonia (ERA.5119), digital documents are available in the document register.
Sittings of the Riigikogu have been recorded since the opening sitting of the 9th Riigikogu. Recordings of the plenary sittings of the Riigikogu and public sittings of the Riigikogu committees as well as recordings of other events, starting from 2014, are available on the Youtube channel of the Riigikogu. Earlier video recordings of the plenary sittings have been transferred to the Film Archive of the National Archives.
The first archival documents of the Archives of the Riigikogu were the verbatim record of the first session of the 7th Riigikogu, a resolution of the Riigikogu, the minutes of the meeting of the Board of the Riigikogu and a resolution of the Board, all dating from 5 October 1992.
