General information

My work as the Rural Municipality Mayor of Valga gave me a clear perspective of how a local government should work, what are the concerns that people have, and how the state can contribute to the local life. All the services we need in today’s world must be equally accessible outside the Harju County.
All the aspects of rural life – public transport, fuel excise, people’s coping, higher education, insufficient physical activity among children, hobby education and mental health of teenagers, child benefits, increasing the salaries of teachers, rescue workers, police officers, and nurses, social issues, and other important topics – continue to need our attention and solutions in the future.
