General information

I have a degree in history and a PhD in international relations and European studies. I have served in all the seven parliaments after Estonia regained its independence. During this term, I continue to work in the Constitutional Committee. I have a conservative world view and will do everything to ensure that Estonia develops in a smooth and well thought out way, without drastic changes or setbacks. Freedom, democracy and the nation state form the best possible framework for Estonia. To keep it that way, we must be especially careful with our security and defence capabilities.
