My experiences as a doctor, lecturer, university vice-rector for development, and head of clinic have served to confirm my inner conviction that my professional roles have put me in charge of the wellbeing of others. Human health is our main capital and the politicians carry huge responsibility in safeguarding it. The reliability of the health care and social system concerns everyone.
I am fully aware of my responsibility and my role in this as a member of the Riigikogu, and also recognise that I have the opportunity to influence the shaping of health care policy and other policies for the benefit of our citizens.
