General information

As a journalist, I have for many years been concerned with giving more visibility to the social problems that have been hidden from the eyes of the wider public. Seven or eight years ago I felt that merely raising of problems is not sufficient for making better laws and shaping the social policy that suits Estonia. This became the basis for the movement of people with special needs and carers for close relatives. The Estonian Caregivers’ Union was created, and so the idea to send our representatives to the Parliament emerged.
