I have worked in the field of child protection and social welfare since 1993, and have kept up-to-date with the new developments throughout. I was involved in drafting the Child Protection Act, Social Welfare Act, and other legislation. I have twice taken part in compiling and presenting the Estonia country report for the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. I am a liberal by world view, and I hold the right to self-determination of individuals and families very dear to my heart. As a member of the parliament, I am particularly committed to children’s rights and inclusion, and ensuring family welfare.
