General information
Working in Haapsalu City Council, my objective was to develop my home town into the "Venice of the North", and Haapsalu has made strong strides forward in this. I set up my candidacy for the Riigikogu in 2007 to protect the interests of people from Western Estonia. Thanks to the support of the locals, I am still in the parliament. My areas of responsibility include education, culture, sports, youth work and integration. Promoting sports and a healthy lifestyle among the youth is also one of my missions as the President of the Estonian School Sport Union.
