Tanel Talve

Member of the Riigikogu until 30.03.2019

General information

For years, I have been engaged in promoting rural development and supporting the emergence of civil society. I stand for these spheres also as a member of the Riigikogu. I participate in the work of the idea group "Riigireform.ee" and I do everything so that the reforms important for the development of Estonia would be implemented at an advanced pace. In the Riigikogu I try to implement the way of thinking according to which the decisions of great importance to us must be adopted by a cross-party agreement – there are things that simply are not open to dispute. The administrative reform, the promotion and simplification of small enterprise, investments in the education of people, boosting of the efficiency of the state government mechanism and elimination of excessive bureaucracy, returning of the decision making authority to the local level, balancing of regional development – all this will create preconditions for the survival and further welfare of the Estonian people.
