The committee also discusses and assesses the potential incidents of corruption involving officials specified in the Act, exercises supervision over compliance with the restrictions on activities of the members of the Riigikogu and verifies the declarations of interests.<\/p>\n The Draft Resolution of the Riigikogu \u201cFormation of the Security Authorities Surveillance Select Committee\u201d <\/strong>(11 OE) provides for formation of a select committee with the following membership: Krista Aru<\/strong>, substitute member Andres Herkel<\/strong>; Uno Kaskpeit<\/strong>, substitute member Henn P\u00f5lluaas<\/strong>; Martin Kukk<\/strong>, substitute member Kalle Laanet<\/strong>; Erki Savisaar<\/strong>, substitute member Aadu Must<\/strong>; Ken-Marti Vaher<\/strong>, substitute member Mart Nutt;<\/strong> Hardi Volmer<\/strong>, substitute member Andres Anvelt<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The Security Authorities Surveillance Select Committee has been formed for the verification of the lawfulness of the activity and surveillance activities of the Internal Security Service and the Information Board. The committee also verifies the compliance of the activities of the Police and Border Guard Board, the General Staff of the Defence Forces, the Prisons Department of the Ministry of Justice, and the Investigation Department of the Tax and Customs Board with the Code of Criminal Procedure.<\/p>\n The Riigikogu also concluded the first reading of the Bill on Amendments to the Adult Education Act<\/strong> (12 SE), initiated by the Cultural Affairs Committee. Under the Bill, the current Adult Education Act will be repealed as of 1 July 2015 because the new Adult Education Act will enter into force as of that date.
