{"id":10643,"date":"2015-03-20T10:09:25","date_gmt":"2015-03-20T08:09:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.riigikogu.ee\/pressiteated\/good-practice-of-members-of-the-riigikogu-with-case-examples\/"},"modified":"2026-08-26T13:18:59","modified_gmt":"2026-08-26T10:18:59","slug":"good-practice-of-members-of-the-riigikogu-with-case-examples","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.riigikogu.ee\/en\/pressiteated\/good-practice-of-members-of-the-riigikogu-with-case-examples\/","title":{"rendered":"Good Practice of Members of the Riigikogu, with case examples"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The drafting of the principles of the Good Practice of Members of the Riigikogu was initiated in 2012 by <strong>Kaja Kallas<\/strong> who convened a working group including<strong> Andres Anvelt, Mart Nutt and Kadri Simson.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Board of the Riigikogu and representatives of factions approved the principles of the Good Practice of Members of the Riigikogu on 17\u00a0December 2014. The final working group comprised<strong> Kadri Simson, Barbi Pilvre, Kaia Iva, Valdo Randpere and Kalle Laanet.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Anti-Corruption Select Committee discussed the good practice at its sittings on 12 and 26 January 2015, and decided to develop and publish case examples of possible situations where there is a conflict of interests, in order to explain the principles, on the web page of the parliament.
