The Riigikogu approved the agenda for the working week, which includes 12 issues for deliberation.

No interpellations to members of the Government are scheduled for Monday’s sitting.

At Tuesday’s sitting, four Bills will be at the first reading: the Bill on Amendments to the 2014–2020 Structural Assistance Act and Other Acts (establishment of a single application service) (628 SE); the Bill on Amendments to the Citizenship Act (629 SE); the Bill on Amendments to the Basic Schools and Upper Secondary Schools Act and the Private Schools Act (611 SE); and the Bill on Amendments to the Hunting Act and the Administrative Co-operation Act (633 SE).

At the sitting on Wednesday, two Bills will be at the third reading: the Bill on Amendments to the Estonian Defence Forces Organisation Act and Amendments to Other Acts arising therefrom (594 SE); and the Land Improvement Bill (524 SE). Three Bills will be at the second reading: the Bill on Amendments to the Public Holidays and Days of National Importance Act (591 SE); the Bill on Amendments to the Occupational Health Care and Safety Act and the Collective Agreements Act (581 SE); and the Bill on Amendments to the Estonian Health Insurance Fund Act and the Health Insurance Act (602 SE). Two Bills will be at the first reading: the Bill on Amendments to the Radiation Act, the General Part of the Environmental Code Act and the Occupational Health and Safety Act (623 SE); and the Bill on Amendments to the Atmospheric Air Protection Act (624 SE).

At Thursday’s sitting, the deliberation of the matter of significant national importance “The problem of state liability on the basis of the case of VEB Fund” will take place. Reports will be by Chairman of the Legal Affairs Committee Jaanus Karilaid; representative of the certificate holders, sworn advocate Indrek Leppik; liquidator of the VEB Fund Rein Järvelill, and representative of the Bank of Estonia, auditor Henn Oit.
