The Riigikogu approved the agenda for the working week. The Temporary Administration of Salary of Member of Riigikogu Act (342 UA) which the President of the Republic refused to proclaim will be deliberated again at Tuesday’s sitting. Thereafter, Draft Resolutions “Extension of the Time Limit of the Use of the Estonian Defence Forces in Performance of International Duties of the Estonian State under the International Peacekeeping Mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina” (386 OE) and “Extension of the Time Limit of the Use of the Estonian Defence Forces in Performance of International Duties of the Estonian State under the International Peacekeeping Mission in Kosovo” (387 OE). The Bill on Repeal of § 75¹ of the European Parliament Election Act (363 SE), the Bill on Amendments to § 3 of the Basic Schools and Upper Secondary Schools Act (357 SE) and the Bill on Amendments to the Local Government Council Election Act (392 SE) will also be deliberated at the first reading. 

Six Bills initiated by the Government will be at the third reading at Wednesday’s sitting: the Bill on Amendments to the Bar Association Act and Associated Acts (253 SE), the Bill on Amendments to the Red Cross Designation and Emblem Act and the Penal Code (309 SE), the Bill on Amendments to the State Budget of the Year 2008 Act (372 SE), the Bill on Amendments to the Defence Forces Service Act (312 SE), the Bill on Amendments to the Estonian Health Insurance Fund Act, the Unemployment Insurance Act and the Environmental Charges Act (348 SE) and the Bill on Amendments to the Water Act (287 SE). 

At the sitting on Thursday, five Bills are scheduled for the third reading in case the second reading will have been concluded: the Rehabilitation Bill (334 SE), the Bill on Amendments to the Digital Signature Act and the Administrative Procedure Act (320 SE), the Bill on Amendments to the Value Added Tax Act and the Income Tax Act (353 SE), the Bill on Amendments to the Taxation Act and Associated Acts (333 SE), the Bill on Amendments to the Postal Act (297 SE).
