At the beginning of the sitting, the Riigikogu held a moment of silence in remembrance of those who died in tragic events in Ukraine. 

The Riigikogu approved the agenda for the working week, according to which 15 drafts will be deliberated. 

At Tuesday’s sitting, two Bills will be at the first reading:  the Bill on Amendments to § 29 of the Citizenship Act(588 SE) and the Bill on Amendments to the Local Government Council Election Act and the Riigikogu Election Act (607 SE).

At the sitting on Wednesday, four Bills will be at the third reading: the Bill on Amendments to the Code of Civil Procedure and Amendments to Other Associated Acts (545 SE); the Bill on Amendments to the Packaging Act and the Packaging Excise Duty Act (561 SE); the Bill on Amendments to the Public Information Act and the Electronic Communications Act and Amendments to Other Associated Acts (649 SE) and the second legislative proceeding of the Act on Amendments to the Value Added Tax Act which the President of the Republic refused to proclaim (493 UA).

Four drafts will be at the second reading: the Draft Resolution of the Riigikogu “Amendment of the Resolution of the Riigikogu “Formation of the State Budget Control Select Committee”” (638 OE); the Draft Resolution of the Riigikogu “Amendment of the Resolution of the Riigikogu “Formation of the Security Authorities Surveillance Select Committee”” (639 OE); the Draft Resolution of the Riigikogu “Amendment of the Resolution of the Riigikogu “Formation of the Security Authorities Surveillance Select Committee”” (640 OE) and the Bill on Amendments to the European Union Common Agricultural Policy Implementation Act and the Act on Amendments to and Implementation of the Maintenance of Law and Order Act (628 SE). Four drafts will be at the first reading: the Bill on Amendments to the Pre-School Child Care Institutions Act (641 SE); the Bill on Amendments to the Alcohol, Tobacco, Fuel and Electricity Excise Duty Act (637 SE); the Bill on Amendments to the Value Added Tax Act (644 SE) and the Bill on Amendments to the Income Tax Act (643 SE). 

The third reading of the Bill on Amendments to the European Union Common Agricultural Policy Implementation Act and the Act on Amendments to and Implementation of the Maintenance of Law and Order Act (628 SE) is scheduled for the sitting on Thursday.
