This working week will see Riigikogu deliberate 16 Bills and Resolutions
The Riigikogu approved the agenda for the working week, according to which the first reading of three drafts is scheduled for Tuesday’s sitting: The draft Resolution on the appointment of Priit Pikamäe to the office of the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court (416 OE), the Bill on Amendments to the Act on Amendments to the State Family Benefits Act, the Social Welfare Act and the Labour Market Services and Benefits Act (399 SE) and the Bill on Amendments to the Local Government Organisation Act (401 SE).
The third reading of two Bills is scheduled for Wednesday’s sitting: the Bill on Amendments to the Merchant Shipping Act and Amendments to Other Associated Acts (353 & 386 SE) and the Bill on Amendments to Acts in connection with the Ratification of the Agreement between the Republic of Estonia and the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe and Headquarters, Supreme Allied Commander Transformation to Supplement the Paris Protocol (385 SE). Five Bills will be at the second reading: the Bill on the Ratification of a Protocol on the Concerns of the Irish People on the Treaty of Lisbon, to be Annexed to the Treaty on European Union and to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (390 SE), the Bill on Amendments to the Organic Farming Act and the State Fees Act (405 SE), the Bill on Amendments to the Media Services Act and Associated Acts (336 SE), the Bill on Amendments to the Taxation Act and Other Acts (414 SE) and the Bill on Amendments to the Health Care Services Organisation Act and Amendments to Other Associated Acts (392 SE). Two Bills will be at the first reading: the Bill on Amendments to the Punishment Register Act (413 SE) and the Bill on Amendments to the Aliens Act and the Identity Documents Act and Amendments to Other Associated Acts (425 SE).
At Thursday’s sitting, two Bills will be at the first reading: the Bill on Amendments to § 81 of the State Assets Act (398 SE) and the Bill on Amendments to the State Assets Act (397 SE).
