The Riigikogu approved the agenda for the working week, which includes 24 topics for deliberation during this week.

On Tuesday, the Prime Minister Andrus Ansip is going to give an overview of the situation in research and development activities and the Government’s policy in this sphere. Three Bills are scheduled for the first reading, including among others the draft resolution on the appointment of Allar Jõks to the office of Legal Chancellor (171 OE), submitted by the President of the Republic. There are also three Bills scheduled for the second reading, including the Law of Succession Act Bill (56 SE), initiated by the Government. Six Bills are going to be at the third reading on Thursday, amongst others, the Decorations Act Bill (134 SE) and the Law of Succession Act Bill (56 SE), initiated by the Government. Nine Bills are going to be at the second reading, including draft resolutions on the extension of the time limit of the use of the Estonian Defence Forces in the peacekeeping mission in Kosovo (143 OE) and in the security assistance mission in Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Iraq (144 OE). The third reading of five Bills is scheduled for the sitting on Thursday.

During the open microphone, Mark Soosaar, Mart Jüssi, Mart Nutt, Urmas Reinsalu, Toomas Trapido, Marek Strandberg, Jürgen Ligi and Karel Rüütli took the floor.
