Riigikogu

The sitting of the Riigikogu started with the approval of the agenda for the working week.

No deliberation of Bills have been scheduled for Monday’s sitting.

13 drafts are scheduled for Tuesday’s sitting.

Five drafts will be at the third reading:

Bill on Amendments to the Identity Documents Act and Amendments to Other Associated Acts (366 SE); Bill on Amendments to the Local Government Organisation Act (212 SE); Bill on Amendments to the Atmospheric Air Protection Act and the State Fees Act (345 SE); Bill on Amendments to the Financial Supervision Authority of Act (380 SE); and Bill on Amendments to the European Parliament Election Act and the Local Government Organisation Act (participation of Members of the European Parliament in the work of municipal councils) (389 SE).

Seven drafts will be at the second reading:

Bill on Amendments to the Water Act (381 SE); Bill on Amendments to the Electronic Communications Act, the Building Code and the State Fees Act (301 SE); Bill on Amendments to the Collective Agreements Act and Other Acts (383 SE); Bill on Amendments to the Code of Criminal Procedure (392 SE); Bill on Amendments to the General Part of the Environmental Code Act and Other Acts (repeal of the Environmental Register Act) (292 SE); Bill on Amendments to the Restrictions on Acquisition of Immovables Act (365 SE); and Bill on the Prevention of Unfair Trading Practices in the Agricultural and Food Supply Chain (377 SE).        

One Bill will be at the first reading:

Bill on Amendments to the Income Tax Act (402 SE).

Seven topics are scheduled for Wednesday’s sitting.

The sitting will start with a discussion on the Education Sector Development Plan 2021–2035.

Two drafts will be at the second reading:

Draft Resolution of the Riigikogu “Approval of the Shortlist for the Establishment and Renovation of Cultural Construction Works of National Importance” (387 OE), and Bill on Amendments to the Electricity Market Act (156 SE).

Four drafts will be at the first reading:

Bill on Amendments to the Penal Code (373 SE); Bill on Amendments to the Riigikogu Election Act (374 SE); Draft Resolution of the Riigikogu “Formation of the Riigikogu Committee of Investigation to Ascertain the Legality and Proportionality of the Police Operation in the City Centre of Tallinn in April 2021” (379 OE); and Bill on Amendments to the Status of Members of the Riigikogu Act (396 SE).

Eight drafts are scheduled for Thursday’s sitting.

Eight drafts will be at the third reading:

Bill on Amendments to the Code of Criminal Procedure (392 SE), in case the second reading is concluded; Bill on Amendments to the Electricity Market Act (156 SE), in case the second reading is concluded; Bill on Amendments to the General Part of the Environmental Code Act and Other Acts (repeal of the Environmental Register Act) (292 SE), in case the second reading is concluded; Building Code and the State Fees Act (301 SE), in case the second reading is concluded; Bill on Amendments to the Restrictions on Acquisition of Immovables Act (365 SE), in case the second reading is concluded; Bill on the Prevention of Unfair Trading Practices in the Agricultural and Food Supply Chain (377 SE), in case the second reading is concluded; Bill on Amendments to the Water Act (381 SE), in case the second reading is concluded; and Bill on Amendments to the Collective Agreements Act and Other Acts (383 SE), in case the second reading is concluded;

At the beginning of the sitting, the Riigikogu held a moment of silence in remembrance of the victims of the June deportation.
