Riigikogu

At today’s sitting, the Riigikogu approved the agenda for the working week, according to which 34 issues will be discussed.

The report of the Minister of Justice Urmas Reinsalu on the implementation of “The Development Objectives of Legal Policy until 2018” is scheduled for Tuesday’s sitting.

Two Bills will be at the second reading: the Bill on Amendments to the European Union Common Agricultural Policy Implementation Act, the Fisheries Market Organisation Act, the 2014–2020 Structural Assistance Act and the 2007–2013 Structural Assistance Act (687 SE); and the Bill on Amendments to the Population Register Act and Amendments to Other Associated Acts (724 SE). Seven drafts will be at the first reading: the Draft Resolution of the Riigikogu “Appointment of Velmar Brett a Justice of the Supreme Court” (753 OE); the Draft Resolution of the Riigikogu “Release of the Justice of the Supreme Court Malle Seppik from the Office of Justice” (707 OE); the Draft Resolution of the Riigikogu 2Release of the Justice of the Supreme Court Eerik Kergandberg from the Office of Justice” (708 OE); the Draft Resolution of the Riigikogu “Amendment of the Resolution of the Riigikogu “Formation of the Riigikogu Study Committee to Solve the Demographic Crisis”” (754 OE); the Draft Resolution of the Riigikogu “Proposal to the Government of the Republic to Organise the Provision of Preschool and School Education in Estonia Uniformly and in the Estonian Language” (682 OE); the Bill on Amendments to the Riigikogu Election Act (701 SE); and the Bill on Amendments to the Alcohol, Tobacco, Fuel and Electricity Excise Duty Act and the Act on Amendments to the Income Tax Act, the Social Tax Act and Other Acts (697 SE).

The report of the Minister of Culture Indrek Saar on the implementation of “The Fundamentals of the Sports Policy until 2030” is scheduled for Wednesday’s sitting.

Seven Bills will be at the third reading: the Bill on Amendments to the Rural Development and Agricultural Market Regulation Act (720 SE); the Bill on Amendments to the Health Services Organisation Act and Amendments to Other Associated Acts (698 SE); the Bill on Amendments to the Health Services Organisation Act and the Health Insurance Act (626 SE); the Bill on Amendments to the Social Welfare Act and the Administrative Co-operation Act (657 SE); the Bill on Amendments to the Commercial Code and Other Acts (712 SE); the Bill on Amendments to the Assistant Police Officer Act (631 SE); and the Bill on Amendments to the Environmental Charges Act and Amendments to Other Associated Acts (660 SE).

Nine drafts will be at the second reading: the Draft Resolution of the Riigikogu “Approval of the Consolidated Report of 2017 of the State” (694 OE); the Bill on Amendments to the Investment Funds Act and Amendments to Other Associated Acts (717 SE); the Bill on Amendments to the Vocational Educational Institutions Act and Amendments to Other Associated Acts (704 SE); the Bill on Amendments to the Museums Act (716 SE); the Bill on Amendments to the Medicinal Products Act (706 SE); the Bill on Amendments to the State Pension Insurance Act and Amendments to Other Associated Acts (613 SE); the Bill on Amendments to the European Union Common Agricultural Policy Implementation Act (714 SE); the Farm Animals Breeding Bill (715 SE); and the Bill on Amendments to the Release into Environment of Genetically Modified Organisms Act and the Plant Protection Act (681 SE).

Four Bills will be at the first reading: the Bill on Amendments to the Industrial Emissions Act (736 SE); the Covered Bond Bill (760 SE); the Bill on Amendments to the Notarisation Act and Amendments to Other Associated Acts (719 SE); and the Bill on Amendments to the Code of Enforcement Procedure and Amendments to Other Associated Acts (exerting pressure on maintenance debtors) (737 SE).

The third reading of the Bill on Amendments to the Population Register Act and Amendments to Other Associated Acts (724 SE) is scheduled for the sitting on Thursday. Two Bills will be at the second reading: the Bill on Amendments to the European Parliament Election Act (696 SE) and the Bill on Amendments to the Income Tax Act (705 SE).
