The Riigikogu passed with 83 votes in favour the Act on Amendments to the Victim Support Act and Amendments to Other Associated Acts (379 SE), initiated by the Government, which brings these Acts into conformity with the European Union Human Trafficking Directive. With the Act, the framework of the services targeted at victims of human trafficking as well as minors who have become victims of sexual offences is created and the rules for the provision of the services are established. The Act ensures that a victim and, under certain conditions, also his or her family members have access to victim support services, social welfare services and the state compensation to victims of crime. The regulation concerning aliens is also brought into conformity with the Human Trafficking Directive, and the necessary preconditions are created for helping victims of human trafficking who are aliens in staying in Estonia. 

On the motion of the Finance Committee, the Riigikogu rejected at the first reading the Bill on Amendments to the Income Tax Act (359 SE), initiated by the Social Democratic Party Faction, which had been intended to increase the basic exemption deductible from the income of a natural person by 192 euro per year during the next three years. The result of voting: 43 votes in favour, 20 against. The Bill was dropped from the legislative proceeding. 

The Estonian Centre Party Faction as the initiator withdrew from the legislative proceeding the Bill on Amendments to the Income Tax Act (367 SE).
