Riigikogu formed three select committees
At the beginning of the sitting, the Riigikogu held a moment of silence in remembrance of the security police officer Tarmo Laul who died during the performance of his duties.
The Resolution of the Riigikogu “Formation of the State Budget Control Select Committee” (15 OE), submitted by the Constitutional Committee, was passed with 84 votes in favour. The membership of the select committee is the following: Arto Aas, alternate member Aivar Sõerd; Annely Akkermann, alternate member Liisa-Ly Pakosta; Margus Hanson, alternate member Urve Tiidus; Kajar Lember, alternate member Urve Palo; Inara Luigas, alternate member Lembit Kaljuvee; Priit Sibul, alternate member Toomas Tõniste; Mihhail Stalnuhhin, alternate member Kadri Simson; and Neeme Suur, alternate member Indrek Saar.
The Resolution of the Riigikogu “Formation of the Security Authorities Surveillance Select Committee” (16 OE), submitted by the Constitutional Committee, was passed with 84 votes in favour. The membership of the select committee is the following: Peep Aru, alternate member Kalle Jents; Kalev Kallo, alternate member Peeter Võsa; Väino Linde, alternate member Rait Maruste; Aadu Must, alternate member Kalle Laanet; Heljo Pikhof, alternate member Karel Rüütli; Marko Pomerants, alternate member Peeter Laurson; Indrek Raudne, alternate member Andres Herkel; and Jaan Õunapuu, alternate member Eiki Nestor.
The Resolution of the Riigikogu “Formation of the Select Committee on the Application of the Anti-corruption Act” (16 OE), submitted by the Constitutional Committee, was passed with 84 votes in favour. The membership of the select committee is the following: Rein Aidma, alternate member Kalev Lillo; Andres Anvelt, alternate member Jaak Allik; Kalev Kotkas, alternate member Rein Randver; Lauri Laasi, alternate member Priit Toobal; Meelis Mälberg, alternate member Lauri Luik; Erki Nool, alternate member Kaia Iva; Aivar Riisalu, alternate member Tarmo Tamm; and Andrus Saare, alternate member Reet Roos.
