The Riigikogu adopted at an extraordinary sitting today with 62 votes in favour the Statement “On Military Aggression of the Russian Federation against Georgia” (307 AE), submitted by 37 members of the Riigikogu. 20 members of the Riigikogu voted against the Statement, nobody abstained. The Riigikogu did not support the motion to amend the Statement, submitted by the Estonian Centre Party Faction: 54 members of the Riigikogu voted against the amendment and 24 members voted in favour.
