The deliberation of foreign policy as a matter of significant national importance was held in the Riigikogu, where the reports were made by Minister of Foreign Affairs Kristiina Ojuland and Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Riigikogu Marko Mihkelson, several members of the Riigikogu took the floor.

The Riigikogu passed with 41 votes in favour the Resolution of the Riigikogu On Amendments to the Resolution of the Riigikogu On the Formation of the Security Authorities Surveillance Committee of the Riigikogu (124 OE), submitted by the Security Authorities Surveillance Committee of the Riigikogu. Pursuant to the Resolution, Member of the Riigikogu Ivari Padar was appointed as member of the Committee instead of Toomas Hendrik Ilves and Member of the Riigikogu Katrin Saks was appointed instead of the alternate member Ivari Padar. Nobody voted against the resolution and nobody abstained.

Due to the end of the working time, the first reading of the Draft Resolution of the Riigikogu On the Formation of the Committee of Investigation of the Riigikogu on Ascertaining the Circumstances Taking Place in the Tax Board (106 OE), initiated by the Estonian Centre Party Faction, was adjourned.
