On the motion of the Economic Affairs Committee as leading committee the first reading of the Bill on Amendments to § 58 of the Precious Metal Products Act (176 SE), initiated by the same Committee, was concluded. The leading committee moved to include the third reading of the Bill in the agenda of Thursday?s (November 20) sitting of the present working week.

On the motion of the Constitutional Committee as leading committee the first reading of the Bill on Amendments to the Riigikogu Rules of Procedure Act (177 SE), initiated by the European Affairs Committee and Foreign Affairs Committee, was concluded. Motions to amend are to be submitted to the leading committee by 4 December, 18.00.

On the motion of the Environment Committee as leading committee the first reading of the Bill on Amendments to the Packaging Act, Consumer Protection Act and Value Added Tax Act (178 SE), initiated by the Estonian Reform Party Faction, Estonian People’s Union Faction and the Union for the Republic ? Res Publica Faction, was concluded. Motions to amend are to be submitted to the leading committee by 2 December, 18.00.

On the motion of the Constitutional Committee as leading committee the first reading of the Bill on Amendments to § 12 of the Aliens Act (189 SE), initiated by the same Committee, was concluded. Motions to amend are to be submitted to the leading committee by 1 December, 11.00.

On the motion of the Legal Affairs Committee as leading committee the first reading of the Bill on Amendments to § 13 (6) of the Law of Property Act Implementation Act (155 SE), initiated by Members of the Riigikogu Olev Laanjärv, Sven Mikser, Ain Seppik, Liina Tõnisson and Harri Õunapuu, was concluded. Motions to amend are to be submitted to the leading committee by 20 November, 12.00.

On the motion of the Cultural Affairs Committee as leading committee the first reading of the Bill on Amendments to the Citizenship Act (180 SE), initiated by the Estonian Reform Party Faction, Union for the Republic ? Res Publica Faction and Estonian People’s Union Faction, was concluded. Motions to amend are to be submitted to the leading committee by 24 November, 10.00.

The Isamaaliiit Faction withdrew from legislative proceeding the Bill on Amendments to the Republic of Estonia Education Act and Education Allowances and Educational Loans Act (188 SE), initiated by the same Faction.
