At Question Time ministers answered the questions of the members of the Riigikogu. 7 items in all were deliberated. Prime Minister Juhan Parts answered the questions about the state budget, the financing of health care, international organizations and about Estonia as a possible presidency of the European Union. Minister of Internal Affairs Margus Leivo answered the questions about possible changes in the border crossing regime of the Narva railway station and about the problems connected with the development of identity cards. Minister of Foreign Affairs Kristiina Ojuland answered the questions about Estonia as a possible presidency of the European Union and about the contracts for the import of goods of the Russian Federation.
The Riigikogu resumed the second reading of the State Budget of the Year 2005 Bill (453 SE), initiated by the Government of the Republic. The motions to amend were voted on. Prior to each voting, the Estonian Centre Party Faction took a ten-minute recess. The 220th amendment was the last item put to a vote. The second reading of the Bill is resumed at the Thursday?s sitting.
