Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Riigikogu Sven Mikser considers the statement made by Nikolai Kovalyov, member of the delegation of the State Duma, which is to arrive at Tallinn today, regrettable.

According to Sven Mikser, it is extremely regrettable that a member of the delegation visiting Estonia, Chairman of the State Duma Veterans’ Committee Nikolai Kovaljov has made propaganda statements prior to the visit, has presented political demands and interferred with the domestic affirs of Estonia. „It is a civilized custom to make statements after bilateral meetings have taken place.
