Eiki Nestor was re-elected the President of the Riigikogu by secret ballot. 53 members of the Riigikogu voted in favour of him.

38 members of the Riigikogu voted in favour of Krista Aru who had been nominated as the second candidate for the President of the Riigikogu. 95 members of the Riigikogu took part in the election of the President. Four ballot papers were declared invalid.

Eiki Nestor had been nominated by the Chairman of the Social Democratic Party Faction Andres Anvelt. Krista Aru had been nominated by the Chairman of the Free Party Faction Andres Herkel.

In the election of the Vice-Presidents, the Chairman of the Pro Patria and Res Publica Union Faction Priit Sibul nominated Helir-Valdor Seeder as a candidate for a Vice-President of the Riigikogu. The Chairman of the Estonian Centre Party Faction Kadri Simson nominated Jüri Ratas as a candidate for a Vice-President.

96 members of the Riigikogu took part in the secret ballot of the election of the Vice-Presidents. 49 members of the Riigikogu voted in favour of Helir-Valdor Seeder, and 36 members of the Riigikogu voted in favour of Jüri Ratas. Eleven ballot papers were invalid. According to the number of votes received, Helir-Valdor Seeder was elected the First Vice-President of the Riigikogu and Jüri Ratas was elected the Second Vice-President.
