Due to Erika Salumäe’s resignation, Tarmo Mänd (assuming the office of Member of the Riigikogu) took the oath of office of a member of the Riigikogu at today’s sitting.

The Chairman of the Estonian Reform Party Faction Keit Pentus, on behalf of the Estonian Reform Party Faction, Isamaa and Res Publica Liit Faction and Social Democratic Party Faction, presented the Bill on the increase in national pensions and the base amount of the pension. Keit Pentus said that it was the first Bill from the package aiming to double pensions in four years.
