On the motion of the Estonian People’s Union Faction, the Riigikogu suspended the second reading of the following Bills:

The Bill on Amendments to the Local Government Council Election Act (607 SE), initiated by the Constitutional Committee. 52 members of the Riigikogu voted in favour of the suspension of the second reading and 30 members of the Riigikogu against it. The term for submission of motions to amend to the Constitutional Committee is 6 May, 4 p.m.

The Bill on Amendments to the Riigikogu Internal Rules Act (613 SE), initiated by Members of the Riigikogu Väino Linde and Ain Seppik. 61 members of the Riigikogu voted in favour of the suspension of the second reading and 1 member of the Riigikogu voted against it. The term for submission of motions to amend to the Constitutional Committee is 6 May, 4.45 p.m.

The Riigikogu concluded the first reading of the Draft Resolution of the Riigikogu On Amendments to the Resolution of the Riigikogu On the Formation of the Riigikogu Select Committee on the Application of Anti-Corruption Act (632 OE), initiated by the Estonian Centre Party Faction. In accordance with the Draft, it is intended to appoint Koit Pikaro instead of Evelyn Sepp as a member of the Committee.

The Riigikogu also concluded the first reading of the Bill on Amendments to the Riigikogu Rules of Procedure Act (624 SE), initiated by the Riigikogu Constitutional Committee.
