The Riigikogu passed with 73 votes in favour the Resolution On the Approval of the 2002 Report of the Bank of Estonia (43 OE), submitted by the Finance Committee. The 2002 Report of the Bank of Estonia was approved with the balance of EEK 16,668,631 (in thousands of kroons) as of December 31, 2002. Nobody voted against the resolution and nobody abstained.
On the motion of the Cultural Affairs Committee as leading committee the first reading of the Performing Arts Institutions Bill (4 SE), initiated by the Government of the Republic, was concluded. Motions to amend are to be submitted to the leading committee by 2 June, 10.00.
On the motion of the Economic Affairs Committee as leading committee the first reading of the Bill on Amendments to Subsection 7(3) of the Republic of Estonia Principles of Ownership Reform Act (15 SE), initiated by Members of the Riigikogu Helle Kalda, Tõnu Kauba, Evelyn Sepp and Toivo Tootsen, was concluded. Motions to amend are to be submitted to the leading committee by 12 September, 12.00.
On the motion of the Constitutional Committee as leading committee the first reading of the Gender Equality Promotion Bill (38 SE), initiated by the Estonian Centre Party Faction and the Mõõdukad Faction, was concluded. Motions to amend are to be submitted to the leading committee by 12 June, 18.00.
The Riigikogu passed with 65 votes in favour the Resolution of the Riigikogu On the Formation of the Estonian Delegation to the Interparliamentary Assembly of the Republic of Estonia, the Republic of Lithuania and the Republic of Latvia (Baltic Assembly) (65 OE). The delegation includes the following members of the Riigikogu: Andres Taimla (head of the delegation), Trivimi Velliste (deputy head of the delegation), Toomas Alatalu, Küllo Arjakas, Margi Ein, Nelli Kalikova, Siim-Valmar Kiisler, Signe Kivi, Väino Linde, Värner Lootsman, Külvar Mand, Siiri Oviir, Ants Pauls, Mailis Rand, Rein Randver, Indrek Raudne, Jüri Saar, Katrin Saks, Helir-Valdor Seeder and Vladimir Velman. Nobody voted against the resolution and nobody abstained.
