The Riigikogu approved the agenda for the working week.
On the motion of the Constitutional Committee the agenda for the sitting of Wednesday, June 9, of the working week, was amended with the first reading of the Bill on Amendments to the Anti-corruption Act (402 SE). On the motion of the Environment Committee the resumption of the second reading of the Bill on Amendments to the Chemicals Act and State Fees Act (370 SE), initiated by the Government of the Republic, was removed from the agenda for the sitting on Wednesday, June 9, of the working week.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Kristiina Ojuland replied to two interpellations: to the interpellation concerning the visit of the Mayor of Tallinn Edgar Savisaar to Moscow, submitted on April 19 by Members of the Riigikogu Rein Lang, Tiit Tammsaar and Urmas Reinsalu, and to the interpellation concerning the specification of the activities of local governments in the Foreign Relations Bill, submitted on June 2 by Members of the Riigikogu Küllo Arjakas, Värner Lootsmann, Toivo Tootsen, Enn Eesmaa, Jüri ?ehovtsov, Mihhail Stalnuhhin, Toomas Varek, Kaarel Pürg, Marika Tuus and Toomas Alatalu.
Legal Chancellor Allar Jõks replied to three interpellations: to the interpellation concerning the conformity of the Bill on Amendments to the Riigikogu Election Act (302 SE) to the requirement of proportionality provided for in the Constitution, submitted on April 19 by Members of the Riigikogu Ivari Padar, Kadi Pärnits, Andres Tarand, Toomas Hendrik Ilves, Katrin Saks and Eiki Nestor, to the interpellation concerning the constitutional-law assessment of the issue, whether Estonia had been a republic of the former Soviet Union, submitted on April 19 by Members of the Riigikogu Tiit Tammsaar, Silver Meikar and Tiit Matsulevit?, and to the interpellation concerning the Decision No. 47-002/04 S of the Energy Market Inspectorate, submitted on April 21 by Members of the Riigikogu Evelyn Sepp and Mihhail Stalnuhhin.
