The deliberation of foreign policy as a matter of significant national importance was held in the Riigikogu. Minister of Foreign Affairs Kristiina Ojuland gave an overview of principal trends in the foreign policy of the State.  The reports were also made by Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee Marko Mihkelson and Chairman of the European Affairs Committee Rein Lang. Members of the Riigikogu Trivimi Velliste, Siim Kallas, Enn Eesmaa, Andres Tarand, Toomas Alatalu, Eiki Berg, Urmas Reinsalu and Jaanus Männik took the floor.
