The Riigikogu resumed the deliberation of the situation of social partnership in the Republic of Estonia as a matter of significant national importance.

Supplementary reports were made by Chairperson of the Confederation of Estonian Trade Unions Kadi Pärnits, Head of the Board of the Estonian Employees’ Confederation (TALO) Toivo Roosimaa and Managing Director of the Estonian Employers’ Confederation Tiit Laja. Then the speeches by Members of the Riigikogu followed.

On the motion of the Finance Committee as leading committee the second reading of the Bill on Amendments to the State Budget Act and the Income Tax Act (1024 SE), initiated by the Mõõdukad Faction, was suspended. Motions to amend are to be submitted to the leading committee by 27 January, 14.00.
