The Riigikogu concluded the first reading of the following Bills:
The Sports Bill (514 SE), initiated by the Government of the Republic, and the Bill on Amendments to the Metrology Act (548 SE), initiated by the Government of the Republic. Also the Draft Resolution of the Riigikogu On Amendments to the Resolution of the Riigikogu On the Formation of the Security Authorities Surveillance Committee of the Riigikogu (549 OE), submitted by the Estonian Reform Party Faction, and the Draft Resolution of the Riigikogu On Amendments to the Resolution of the Riigikogu On the Formation of the Riigikogu Select Committee on the Application of Anti-Corruption Act (550 OE), submitted by the Estonian Reform Party Faction.
The Riigikogu rejected the following Bills from the legislative proceeding:
On the motion of the Finance Committee with 47 votes in favour (28 votes against) the Bill on Amendments to the Land Tax Act (483 SE), initiated by the Isamaaliit Faction;
On the motion of the Economic Affairs Committee with 44 votes in favour (10 votes against) the Bill on Amendments to the Public Transport Act (517 SE), initiated by the Isamaaliit Faction;
On the motion of the Social Affairs Committee with 42 votes in favour (16 votes against) the Bill on Amendments to the Unemployment Insurance Act (493 SE), initiated by the Social Democratic Party Faction;
On the motion of the Social Affairs Committee with 44 votes in favour (16 votes against) the Bill on Amendments to § 6(2) of the Unemployed Persons Social Protection Act (494 SE), initiated by the Estonian Centre Party Faction;
On the motion of the Social Affairs Committee with 44 votes in favour (15 votes against) the Bill on Amendments to the Parental Benefits Act (461 SE), initiated by Members of the Riigikogu Mihhail Stalnuhhin, Vilja Savisaar, Helle Kalda, Toivo Tootsen, Nelli Privalova, Marika Tuus, Mailis Reps, Heimar Lenk, Vladimir Velman and Eldar Efendijev.
