The Riigikogu resumed its deliberation of foreign policy as a matter of significant national importance .
Supplementary reports were made by Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee Anti Liiv and representatives of the Riigikogu in the Convention on the Future of Europe Tunne Kelam and Peeter Kreitzberg. Then comments were made by the members of the Riigikogu.
On the motion of the Legal Affairs Committee as leading committee the first reading of the Bill on Amendments to the Databases Act (1063 SE), initiated by the Economic Affairs Committee, was concluded. Motions to amend are to be submitted to the leading committee by 16 January, 16.00.
On the motion of the Finance Committee as leading committee the first reading of the Bill on Amendments to § 11 (2) of the Land Tax Act (1235 SE), initiated by Member of the Riigikogu Kadri Jäätma, was concluded. Motions to amend are to be submitted to the leading committee by 16 January, 10.00.
Due to the end of the working hours of the plenary working week, the second reading of the Riigikogu Rules of Procedure Bill (1222 SE), initiated by Members of the Riigikogu Ignar Fjuk, Liia Hänni, Tunne Kelam, Peeter Kreitzberg and Toomas Savi, was adjourned. The deliberation will be resumed tomorrow, at the sitting beginning at 14.00.
