At Question Time ministers answered the questions of the members of the Riigikogu.
Prime Minister Juhan Parts answered the question of Olev Laanjärv about the appointment to office of county governors, the question of Helir-Valdor Seeder about energy sector, the question of Ain Seppik about the privatisation of Eesti Raudtee, the question of Eiki Nestor about the transitional expenses of the pension reform, the question of Vladimir Velman about the coordination of foreign policy in the Government and the question of Kadi Pärnits about the rights of state officials.
Minister of Culture Urmas Paet answered the question of Katrin Saks about the broadcasting, the question of Enn Eesmaa about the cultural policy and the question of Trivimi Velliste about the future of the Old Anatomical Theatre in Tartu.
Minister of Agriculture Tiit Tammsaar answered the question of Vello Tafenau about the crop failure benefits.
The Riigikogu passed the following Act at the third reading:
The Riigikogu passed with 82 votes in favour the Organic Farming Act (183 SE), initiated by the Government of the Republic. The Act establishes the requirements established for the organic farming, the procedure for the supervision over the organic farming production and handling and the liability for the failure to meet the requirements of law.
The Riigikogu concluded the first reading of the following Bills:
The Bill on Amendments to the Probation Supervision Act (196 SE), initiated by the Government of the Republic. The term for submission of motions to amend to the Legal Affairs Committee is 28 January, 18.00.
The Bill on Amendments to the Law of Property Act Implementation Act, State Fees Act, Land Register Act, Commercial Associations Act, Churches and Congregations Act and the Sworn Translators Act (197 SE), initiated by the Government of the Republic. The term for submission of motions to amend to the Legal Affairs Committee is 16 January, 16.45.
