The Riigikogu concluded the second reading of the Bill on Amendments to the Principles of Legal Regulation of Industrial Property Act, to § 41 of the Trade Marks Act and to § 19 of the Patents Act (542 SE), initiated by the Government of the Republic, after the review of the motions to amend.

The Riigikogu concluded the first reading of three Bills:

The Bill on Amendments to the Act on the Accession to the Convention Abolishing the Requirement of Legalisation for Foreign Public Documents (526 SE), initiated by the Government of the Republic;

The Bill on Amendments to the Act on the Accession to the Convention on Jurisdiction, Applicable Law, Recognition, Enforcement and Co-operation in Respect of Parental Responsibility and Measures for the Protection of Children (560 SE), initiated by the Government of the Republic;

The Bill on Amendments to the Environment Supervision Act (568 SE), initiated by the Government of the Republic.

At Question Time Minister Paul-Eerik Rummo and Minister of Justice Ken-Marti Vaher answered the questions of Members of the Riigikogu. Matters concerning foster families, children?s day care, compatibility of working life with family life and the establishment of the register of criminal procedure were deliberated.
