On the motion of the Union for the Republic ? Res Publica Faction, the Bill on Amendments to the Referendum Act (226 SE), initiated by the Isamaaliit Faction, was rejected at the first reading with 32 votes in favour. 20 members of the Riigikogu voted against the rejection, 4 members of the Riigikogu abstained. The Bill was withdrawn from legislative proceeding.

On the motion of the Constitutional Committee as leading committee the first reading of the Bill on Amendments to the Public and National Holidays Act (229 SE), initiated by the Isamaaliit Faction and Member of the Riigikogu Tiit Matsulevit?, was concluded. Motions to amend are to be submitted to the leading committee by 1 March, 18.00.
