On the motion of the Legal Affairs Committee as leading committee the second reading of the Bill on Amendments to the Implementation Acts Regulating Civil Law Relationships Act (155 SE), initiated by Members of the Riigikogu Olev Laanjärv, Sven Mikser, Ain Seppik, Liina Tõnisson and Harri Õunapuu, was concluded. The Bill was sent to the third reading.
On the motion of the Cultural Affairs Committee as leading committee the second reading of the consolidated Bill on Amendments to the Language Act (149 SE and 163 SE)), initiated by Members of the Riigikogu Mihhail Stalnuhhin, Mailis Reps, Vladimir Velman, Toivo Tootsen, Heimar Lenk, Olev Laanjärv, Arnold Kimber and Vilja Savisaar and the Government of the Republic, was concluded. The Bill was sent to the third reading.
On the motion of the Finance Committee as leading committee the Bill on Amendments to § 271 of the Income Tax Act (127 SE), initiated by Members of the Riigikogu Jaanus Marrandi and Harri Õunapuu, was rejected at the first reading. 47 members of the Riigikogu voted in favour of the motion of the Finance Committee, 22 against it and 1 member of the Riigikogu abstained. The Bill was withdrawn from legislative proceeding.
On the motion of the Social Affairs Committee as leading committee the first reading of the Bill on Amendments to the State Family Benefits Act (139 SE), initiated by Member of the Riigikogu Siiri Oviir and Marika Tuus, was concluded. Motions to amend are to be submitted to the leading committee by 16 December, 18.00.
