Ene Ergma was re-elected President of the 11^th Riigikogu for the second term of office, and Kristiina Ojuland and Jüri Ratas were elected Vice-Presidents.

Chairman of the Pro Patria and Res Publica Union Faction Mart Laar nominated Ene Ergma as a candidate for President of the Riigikogu.

93 Members of the Riigikogu took part in secret ballot of the election of the President. 83 members of the Riigikogu voted in favour of Ene Ergma, 2 members of the Riigikogu voted against her and 8 ballots were invalid.

In the election of Vice-Presidents, Chairman of the Estonian Reform Party Faction Keit Pentus nominated Kristiina Ojuland as a candidate for Vice-President of the Riigikogu, and Chairman of the Estonian Centre Party Faction Vilja Savisaar nominated Jüri Ratas as a candidate for Vice-President.

91 members of the Riigikogu took part in secret ballot. 50 members of the Riigikogu voted in favour of Kristiina Ojuland and 38 members of the Riigikogu voted in favour of Jüri Ratas. There were 3 invalid ballots. According to the number of votes received, Kristiina Ojuland was elected the First Vice-President of the Riigikogu and Jüri Ratas was elected the Second Vice-President.
