94 Members of the Riigikogu took part in secret ballot of the election of the President. 74 members of the Riigikogu voted in favour of Ene Ergma, 11 members of the Riigikogu voted against and 9 ballots were invalid.
In the election of the Vice-Presidents, Chairman of the Estonian Reform Party Faction Keit Pentus nominated Kristiina Ojuland as a candidate for the Vice-President of the Riigikogu, and Chairman of the Estonian Centre Party Faction Vilja Savisaar nominated Jüri Ratas as a candidate for the Vice-President.
93 members of the Riigikogu took part in secret ballot. 52 members of the Riigikogu voted in favour of Kristiina Ojuland and 36 members of the Riigikogu voted in favour of Jüri Ratas. There were 5 invalid ballots. According to the number of votes received, Kristiina Ojuland was elected the First Vice-President of the Riigikogu and Jüri Ratas was elected the Second Vice-President.
