The Riigikogu deliberated the authorisation of candidate for Prime Minister Juhan Parts to form the government. Juhan Parts made a report about the bases of forming the government and answered the questions of the members of the Riigikogu.

The Riigikogu resolved with 60 votes in favour (27 votes against, 6 abstentions) to authorize Juhan Parts to form the government.
