The Riigikogu will deliberate 12 drafts this working week

At today’s sitting, the Riigikogu approved the agenda for this working week.

At Tuesday’s sitting, two drafts will be at the first reading: the draft Resolution of the Riigikogu “Making a Proposal to the Government of the Republic” (497 OE) and the draft Resolution of the Riigikogu “Making a Proposal to the Government of the Republic” (513 OE).

At Wednesday’s sitting, three Bills will be at the third reading: the Bill on Amendments to the Seafarers Employment Act (472 SE), the Bill on Amendments to the Fiscal Marking of Liquid Fuel Act and the European Union Common Agricultural Policy Implementation Act (495 SE), and the Bill on Amendments to the Road Transport Act and Amendments to Other Associated Acts (490 SE).

The agenda also includes the report by Minister of Justice Maris Lauri on the implementation of “Approval of “The Fundamentals of Legislative Drafting Policy until 2030”” in 2021.

Two Bills will be at the second reading: the Bill on Amendments to the Family Benefits Act and Amendments to Other Associated Acts (512 SE) and the Bill on Amendments to the Securities Market Act and Amendments to Other Associated Acts (505 SE). 

Three drafts will be at the first reading: the draft Resolution of the Riigikogu “Making a Proposal to the Government of the Republic” (515 OE), the Bill on Amendments to the Government of the Republic Act (500 SE) and the Bill on Amendments to the Obligation to Leave and Prohibition on Entry Act, the Police and Border Guard Act and the State Borders Act (implementation of the provisions of the Schengen acquis in the field of return) (518 SE).

At Thursday’s sitting, the Bill on Amendments to the Consumer Protection Act (424 SE) will be at the second reading.

The discussion of the three interpellations scheduled for Monday’s sitting was cancelled due to illness of the presenters.

During the open microphone, Peeter Ernits, Martin Helme, Lauri Läänemets, Tarmo Kruusimäe, Kalle Grünthal, Priit Sibul, Aivar Kokk and Mart Helme took the floor.
