The Riigikogu approved the agenda for this working week which includes discussion of 12 issues. No replies to interpellations had been scheduled for today.

At Tuesday’s sitting, two Bills will be at the second reading: the Bill on Amendments to the Citizen of the European Union Act and the Equal Treatment Act (189 SE), and the Bill on Amendments to the Security Authorities Act and Other Acts (383 SE). The Bill on Supporting Local Democracy (388 SE) will be at the first reading.

At Wednesday’s sitting, three Bills will be at the third reading: the Bill on Amendments to the Employment Contracts Act and Other Acts (356 SE); the Bill on Amendments to the Liquid Fuel Act (361 SE); and the Bill on Amendments to the Youth Work Act, the Private Schools Act and the Hobby Schools Act (341 SE). Three Bills will be at the second reading: the Public Procurement Bill (204 SE); the Bill on Amendments to the Planning Act and related Amendments to the Environmental Impact Assessment and Environmental Management System Act (411 SE), and the Bill on Amendments to the Commercial Code and Amendments to Other Associated Acts (384 SE). The Labour Dispute Resolution Bill (407 SE) will be at the first reading.

The third reading of the Bill on Amendments to the Citizen of the European Union Act and the Equal Treatment Act (189 SE) is scheduled for the sitting on Thursday. Deliberation of a matter of significant national importance “Where is the balance in the forest?” is next on the agenda. In this matter, reports will be by ecologist and forest scientist Toomas Frey, Asko Lõhmus (University of Tartu, Institute of Ecology and Earth Sciences, Lead Research Fellow; member of the Estonian National Forestry Board), and member of the Estonian Free Party Faction Artur Talvik.

During the open microphone, Andres Herkel, Marianne Mikko, Jüri Adams, Artur Talvik, Krista Aru and Inara Luigas took the floor.
