On Monday, Estonia will receive a visit from the President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola who will meet Estonia’s state leaders and speak at the Riigikogu.

Metsola will meet President Alar Karis, President of the Riigikogu Lauri Hussar, and Prime Minister Kaja Kallas with whom she will give a joint press conference. At the start of the Riigikogu sitting, Metsola will speak to the plenary assembly, which can be followed live. The one-day visit will conclude with a meeting with students at Tallinn University.

Schedule on 12 February

1 p.m. – Prime Minister Kaja Kallas meets President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola in Stenbock House. The meeting is followed by a joint press conference, starting in the Hall of the Elders of State at 2 p.m. The press conference can be followed live in Estonian or English.

2.25 p.m. – President of the Riigikogu Lauri Hussar meets President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola in the Riigikogu.

3 p.m. – President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola speaks in the Session Hall of the Riigikogu. The speech can be followed live either with simultaneous translation into Estonian or in English.

3.35 p.m. – President Alar Karis meets the President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola.

4 p.m. – President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola meets students in Tallinn University.
