Starting on Wednesday, July 4, all individual visitors are again welcome to take a tour of the Riigikogu. The visitors can learn about Toompea Castle and the work of the Riigikogu without previous registration until the end of August.
The Estonian language tours will take place on Wednesdays at 1 p.m., and the English language tours on Wednesdays and Fridays at 12 noon.
The visitors should arrive 15 minutes prior to the tour at the left entrance of the parliament. They do not have to register in advance but must bring along an identity document with photo. The tour lasts 45 minutes.
The visitors are shown around by the tour guides of the Chancellery of the Riigikogu, who will give them an overview of the history and work of the Riigikogu. The tour also showcases the unique architecture of the parliamentary building and the Castle.
Over the first six months of this year, nearly 15,000 visitors have visited the Riigikogu; 10,378 of these were Estonians and 4,371 foreigners from 70 countries.
