The President of the Riigikogu Ene Ergma scheduled the additional sittings of the Riigikogu, under subsection 49(3) of the Riigikogu Rules of Procedure and Internal Rules Act, and the Resolution of the Riigikogu from 3 March, in the Plenary Hall of Toompea Castle as follows: 

the first additional sitting will be held on 5 March 2014 at 12 noon. The agenda includes the deliberation of the matter of significant national importance On the Situation in Ukraine, initiated by the Foreign Affairs Committee. The Minister of Foreign Affairs Urmas Paet will make a report. 

The Foreign Affairs Committee has notified the Board of the Riigikogu on the intention of the MPs to present a draft statement In Support of Sovereignty and Territorial Integrity of Ukraine for the legislative proceeding of the Riigikogu. If the draft statement is handed in at the 5 March noon sitting, the second additional sitting will be held on 5 March 2014 at 4 p.m. The agenda includes the first reading of the statement.
