Ene Ergma gave an interview to the Ukrainian Hromadske TV
The President of the Riigikogu Ene Ergma gave an interview to the Ukrainian Hromadske TV on Monday; the station is offering round the clock Internet TV coverage of the events unfolding in Ukraine.
Ergma said in the interview that the Ukrainian nation must be able to make its own decision on whether it wishes a closer integration in the European Union or not. Ergma termed Russia’s actions in Crimea as an occupation of a region of Ukraine.
Ergma was interviewed by the former leader of the Ukrainian community in New Zealand Vlad Vernygora who has been lecturing in the Tallinn Technical University for the past two years. Vernygora said that the Internet channel is operated by professional Ukrainian television workers who receive contributions from several countries.
