The President of the Riigikogu Eiki Nestor met the Ukrainian Minister for Foreign Affairs Pavlo Klimkin to talk about cooperation between the two countries, as well as the security situation in Europe. He affirmed Estonia’s support to Ukraine.
“We are with you one hundred percent,” Eiki Nestor said at the meeting. “We are seeing problems with the implementation of the Minsk agreements and we support the continuation of sanctions against Russia.”
Nestor and Pavlo Klimkin also discussed the reforms in Ukraine. The Minister thanked Estonia for its support.
Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee Sven Mikser, and Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the Estonia–Ukraine parliamentary group Johannes Kert and Mailis Reps also participated at the meeting.
