The President of the Riigikogu (Parliament of Estonia) Eiki Nestor will today go on a four-day visit to Ukraine, where he will attend Kiev Security Forum and make a report there. He will also meet with the Chairman of the Parliament of Ukraine.
“Ukraine is Estonia’s partner state and friend in Europe. We have strong emotional connections,” Nestor said. “We not only understand the worries of Ukraine, but we also feel them in our souls.”
Tomorrow, on 27 May, Nestor will meet with the Chairman of the Parliament of Ukraine, or Verkhovna Rada, Volodymyr Groisman. The day after tomorrow, on 28 May, Kiev Security Forum will begin. The forum will last for two days, and Nestor will make a report on the opening day.
Nestor also plans to meet the Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine during the visit.
