Nestor expressed condolences to close ones of the victims of Manchester terrorist attack
President of the Riigikogu (Parliament of Estonia) Eiki Nestor condemned the terrorist attack in Manchester, where more than 20 people were killed and more than 50 injured, and expressed his heartfelt condolences to the families and close ones of the victims, and the people of the United Kingdom.
“In Europe, today started with sad news. Our thoughts go to the families and close ones of the victims, and we wish the injured a speedy recovery,” Nestor said.
Nestor emphasised that each terrorist attack, no matter where it took place, shook the whole Europe. “Normal people will never be able to understand or accept anything so brutal, but still we have to go on with our lives,” Nestor added. “The people of Europe join together and are united in their minds in order stand more strongly than ever against the terrorist groups that try to split Europe.”
22 people were killed and more than fifty injured in an explosion at the end of a concert by Ariana Grande on Monday night at Manchester Arena in England.
